Version 1.07 is out. Normal Mode is fixed. oops.

December 28, 2009

Don’t know how it happened, but I broke Normal Mode at some point… my bad. New version is up and it should be fixed now.

Version 1.06 now available

December 2, 2009

Version 1.06 adds support for PS3 GH Guitar/Drums on OS X (finally >_<), and fixes the PS3 GH controller screw-up I added on Windows last time (blue and yellow being switched).

Download the new version now.

v1.05 now available

October 29, 2009

Should fix some PS3 drum set issues. I think.

Get it while it’s hot.

MIDItar Hero v1.04 now available

June 21, 2009

I just put MH v1.04 on the download page. To be completely honest, I’m not sure what’s been changed since the last version. Velocity support is still limited to only 3 or 4 drum sets.

The reason I’m uploading this is because I only have 9 days left on my student license for Max/MSP, and a permanent license costs $250. Unfortunately, I can’t afford this right now, which means I won’t be able to work on MIDItar Hero for a while.

More drum stuff…

April 26, 2009

In addition to supporting velocity, I’d also like to add support for two more things on the Rock Band 2 drum set:
– cymbal attachment
– extra pedal port (for hi-hat)
If anyone with the RB2 kit for any system has these add-ons, please get in touch with me so I can add support for them.

Adding support for velocity sensitive drums

April 15, 2009

If you have a RB or GH drumset that is velocity sensitive and want the velocity feature to be added MIDItar Hero for your drum set, email me or IM me and I can walk you through the steps to help me get it working.
I’m gradually adding and testing velocity support for each drum set as people get in touch with me asking to add the setup they have, so I’ll be making small updates every once in a while to add these.
